"disdain," as a metaphor to describe oppression by people in power. If people don't perceive each other as equals, the word will never obtain real peace. Hence my clothes that looked like prison uniforms, implying that people are trapped under their clothes, appearances, and perceptions. As we look around, people everywhere are trapped by inequality in terms of race and gender. They are either wandering around or fixed in place, wearing a coat armor they wish to escape from. No matter how one's appearance and body may appear , we are all governed by power and ''disdained'' by its unrelenting gaze.
