Fashion Institute of Taipei (FIT), which supports the clustering effect of the fashion and apparel industry and helps traditional businesses upgrade and transform themselves. The TTF organizes fashion trend every season, thus providing up-to-date information on the latest international fashion trends. The FIT nurtures new talent by holding international competition, including Taiwan Fashion Design Award (TFDA) and promotional programs for new fashion designers. Meanwhile, the TTF has hold the collections twice a year and set up an emerging designers’ alliance, which helps these designers to establish contact and develop links with businesses and promote their new brands. FIT integrates the resources of the textile industry and adds aesthetics and technological added value. Through channels cooperating, exhibitions interacting, sales promoting, will develop the market and business opportunities for garment products.
