The TTF actively participates in the annual conferences, meetings or seminars organized by international organizations related to textile industry so as to enhance the international status of Taiwan's textile industry, promote international exchanges among industries, catch the developments and trends of the international textile industry, and explore business opportunities. In addition, TTF regularly holds bilateral meetings and seminars with the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) and China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC).
International Apparel Federation, IAF
International Apparel Federation (IAF) established in 1976. IAF is an international trade association whose membership includes national clothing associations and companies whose core business is sourcing, designing, development, manufacturing, distribution, and retailing of apparel products.
The apparel industry is fast changing with more and more technology being introduced every day. With the introduction of microchips into the production machines, garments and finished goods quality is on the rise. With computer guided manufacturing technology we are able to produce complex designs with ease. Justin Huang, the President of the Taiwan Textile Federation helped lead the development of Taiwan’s textile industry and promoted functional textiles in Taiwan and abroad. There’s no one better to discuss this range in apparel advances. Now largely thanks to Mr. Huang’s efforts and understanding of this technology, Taiwan is recognized as a leading country for the design and technology innovation of functional textiles. Taiwan Textile Federation is also a board member for the International Apparel Federation (IAF).
